This course expands on previous studies in enzyme chemistry and explores the principles and applications of biological catalysis and enzymes in biotechnology. Topics include principles of enzyme structure and function, enzyme kinetics, mechanistic enzymology, biotransformations in
chemical synthesis, and enzyme discovery, design and engineering.
Prerequisites: CH350.
